I loved the time I spent in MOA. It has helped me approach social and political problems using logic and reason rather than emotion and tradition. What I loved the most was your straightforward teaching which encouraged all students to form their own opinions and ideology based on historical fact and the founding documents. This course of study did more to prepare me for active and proper participation in society than any college course I've taken.

The most amazing class ever, the principles are truly incredible to learn, and I feel a greater passion and respect for the founders because of it, and I'm not even through the course yet.

Our four children were able to take this class. As a result from their participation and our involvement, they learned the role of government - local, state, and federal. They truly understand their rights as constituted in the Bill of Rights and can have intellectual conversations with people of all ages from the founder's purposes to current issues. They have gained a deeper appreciation for our service men in the armed forces as they've learned that freedom is not free. This class helped them further understand the history of what the stars and stripes represent and why the U.S.A. Flag is honored and of the importance to fly it over our homes, towns, and nation.

If you wish to have your children gain a deep-rooted appreciation for this country and to construct their own opinions about it, sign them up and make yourself available to be a part of it as well.

My son loved his time in MOA. He enjoyed the discussions they had about current events and whether or not certain things were constitutional. Teri made studying the principles upon which this country was founded interesting and helped the students see relevance to today's world. This class was seriously one of the best parts of my son's High School education.

I felt I had a good understanding of our nation's history. As I talked to the lead for this class and others i realized it did not go very deep. So I asked if I might join the teen's class. Thank you for letting me be a part of it! I gained a much deeper appreciation for the struggle for Independence and how much they relied on the inspiration from our Heavenly Father. It was a challenge to keep up with the young and their quick minds. I especially enjoyed the personal portrayal of the specific Founders and learning about other lives and what important contributions they made. We have so much to be thankful for.

As President Ezra Taft Benson stated, the Constitution is a Heavenly Banner. We have to know our liberties to recognize when they are being encroached upon. Also why it's important to use the Electoral College to protect the smaller states from the strong arm of the larger states.

I'm so thankful Teri presented the Making of America class. Thank you for making this valuable course available to the interested youth and neighbors.

MOA was such a great class for me. I was in it for 2 years, and not only was it one of my favorite subjects to study, but I also learned and benefited a lot from it. My love of America, its history, its founders and founding principles grew a lot during my time in the class. I got to learn the constitution and the principles behind it much better than most people ever do. Cleon Skousen does such a good job of summarizing and compiling the founders' thoughts and philosophies on a myriad of subjects, and pointing out why they are the best means known to bring us closer to freedom, peace, and prosperity. If you want to understand those things well, MOA is the right place for you!
